Privacy Policy

How ZoomTarget collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Who we are

ZoomTarget is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. For any privacy-related question you can reach us at [email protected].

What data we collect and why

Contact form: your name, email and — if you provide them — company and phone, along with the message you write. We use this solely to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form.

Newsletter: your email address only. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email we send.

We do not collect browsing data for advertising, and we use no cookies at all — not for tracking, not for profiling, not for sessions.

Visit statistics

We use Umami, an analytics tool we host on our own servers. It sets no cookies, creates no persistent identifier and cannot recognise the same person across visits.

We collect aggregate data only: page views, country, device type and referral source. The IP address is used to derive the country and is not stored.

None of it runs without your permission. When you arrive you can accept or decline — if you decline, the script is never loaded at all. Your choice is kept in your browser (local storage, not a cookie) and you can change it by clearing the site's data.

Because we host it ourselves, this data is never shared with any third party.

The website assistant

We keep two of your preferences in the browser's local storage: the theme (light or dark) and your decision about statistics. They are not cookies, they are never sent to us, and they identify nobody.

The chat assistant runs entirely in your browser from a fixed set of questions and answers. Messages are never sent to any server, never stored and never analysed. No personal data is processed by this feature.

Who we share data with

Resend — used to deliver contact-form emails and manage the newsletter list, acting as our processor.

Cloudflare — the Turnstile service verifies that forms are submitted by people rather than bots. In doing so Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical signals from your browser. It is the only way we can protect the forms without asking you for more data.

Visit statistics are hosted by us and involve no third party.

We never sell or transfer personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.

How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept for the duration of the commercial relationship and for up to three years after the last contact, for record-keeping and legal obligations.

Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to processing, and receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only, enforces a strict content security policy and rate-limits submissions per origin. Anything you send us is transmitted encrypted.
